Each week, our Inclusive Film and Theatre Officer, Gil Graystone will be sharing with you some of the activities from our dementia-friendly Bring Me Laughter project, with accompanying info - including some things to listen to, read and take part in at home.
What is Bring Me Laughter?
This project centres on understanding laughter’s role in communication between people living with dementia and those caring for them.
Regular workshops and screenings take place in Lancaster, Morecambe and Carnforth, for people living with dementia and their caregivers.
‘Bring Me Laughter’ is funded by the Wellcome Trust and responds to the success of the original A Life More Ordinary (ALMO) project.
You can find our dementia-friendly screenings on our listings by searching for events that are tagged with 'ALMO'.
