Become a part of the fabric of The Dukes by sponsoring a seat in The Rake theatre.
You can name a seat in memory of a loved one, as a special gift for a friend or relative, or celebrate your own passion for theatre by naming it for yourself.
The Dukes welcomes over 40,000 people to events in The Rake each year. By naming a seat in The Rake you will provide crucial support to the renewal of The Dukes’ building, making our shows and films accessible to all, and support our vibrant creative work with the local community. Your donation will go to the heart of what we do.
For a donation of £250 you can secure a seat with a bespoke plaque featuring your personal inscription or dedication.
When sponsoring your seat...
- Your plaque remains in place for up to 5 years.
- You can personalise your plaque with an inscription of up to 60 characters
- You can choose the specific seat (or seats) you wish to name
- You will receive a special thank you letter from The Dukes
- You will be able to visit to see your seat plaque for a photo opportunity
- sponsoring a seat doesn’t guarantee that your seat will be exclusively available to you when purchasing a ticket
- You will have first refusal to continue to name your seat after the initial 5 year period (at a further cost)
