Administrator & Exec Support
Approx 24 hours per week, 3 days per week or equivalent over 5 days.
£25,459 pro rata
The Dukes are looking to expand their team and are seeking an organised, hard working individual to provide administrative support for our team, CEO and the board of trustees.
The role of Administrator & Exec Support is a crucial one: you’ll be supporting the work across all departments, working closely with the CEO and department heads to ensure that all elements of the Dukes’ work are delivered smoothly. This is an exciting time for the Dukes, and the Administrator plays a key part in making the Dukes a dynamic and vibrant organisation.
The successful candidate will have excellent organisational skills, a self-motivated attitude and a meticulous eye for detail. Experience in Administration is desirable.

Theatre Technician
Average 39 Hours per Week.
£25,459 per annum
Our Theatre Technician's are responsible for delivering efficient and high-quality technical support across all theatre and cinema activities.
Reporting to the Head of Production, the role involves preparing, installing, and maintaining technical equipment, including lighting, sound, and staging elements for performances and screenings. Technicians collaborate with visiting companies and internal teams to meet production requirements, ensuring smooth operation during rehearsals and live events.
Duties include rigging equipment, operating technical systems, assisting with scenic construction, and supporting outdoor productions. The role also involves basic electrical maintenance, PAT testing, and adherence to health and safety standards. Technicians may undertake stage management responsibilities and assist with setting and striking equipment. Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential, alongside the ability to work independently. The role requires physical fitness, flexibility, and a proactive approach to supporting a diverse programme of artistic and community activities.
