Housekeeper

Hours variable.
£11.44 per hour

We are seeking a hard-working individual to provide an efficient, effective and excellent cleaning service for The Dukes Theatre

Key Tasks:

· Cleaning, washing, sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing and vacuum cleaning of designated areas to the required standard. (see cleaning schedule)

· Emptying litter bins, etc., and removing waste to designated areas.

· Using cleaning materials and consumables as recommended by the supplier, following supplier’s recommended use instructions and adhering to COSHH regulations.

· To store equipment and cleaning materials in a safe, clean and tidy condition as directed.

· Communicate effectively to report any relevant issues with buildings, fixtures, equipment and services.

· Clearing up after flooding and/or any other emergency cleaning.

· Undertake any other duties which may reasonably be regarded as within the nature of the duties and responsibilities/grade of the post as defined, subject to the proviso that normally any changes of a permanent nature shall be incorporated into the job description in specific terms.

· The Housekeeper is a key-holder of the building and has responsibility for deactivating the intruder alarm.
