A New Playreading Club at The Dukes!
On the first Wednesday of every month, come along and meet us in the Gallery to read and chat about classic plays that are related to our programme. That means Shakespeare, Noël Coward and more will be involved in our playreading discovery! No prior experience is needed and all are welcome to join for the drama, the laughs and a brew.
The sessions will be led by Emma Nixon, who is the Creative Administrator & Programme Coordinator at the Dukes and works professionally as an Actor including our last park show, Alice in Wonderland, with Three Left Feet and After Dark.
Our first free Playreading Club will be held on the 5th March 2025, 11:30am, in the Gallery. As our club grows, we will reassess our start time and consider the possibility that evenings might be the prime time for some playreading!
