Live Performance Returns to The Dukes

Live Performance Returns to The Dukes

Since reopening our cinema back in August, the team here at The Dukes have been working hard and looking at ways to safely bring live performances back to our organisation & community.

With our second site Moor Space transformed into a socially distanced venue and safety measures in place, we're now delighted to announce that the wonderful Ladies That Bus will make a special return to our stage on Sept 28 - Oct 1 for our first live shows since March.

Inspired by the passengers, travels and tales of the Route 555 between Lancaster and Keswick, and originally borne out of a collaborative project between The Dukes, Kendal's BAC and Theatre by the Lake, the popular play made its debut here in February to critical acclaim. This love letter to the local area felt like the perfect way to welcome you back.

We also have two fun family shows lined up for the end of October: Puss in Boots (Oct 24) and Ugg 'n' Ogg and the World's First Dogg (Oct 29).

Advanced booking is recommended, either by calling our Box Office or purchasing a ticket through our website.

The safety of our audiences and teams are of the utmost importance to us. As with our cinema, we've introduced some safety measures and made a few adjustments for live performances. You can find these in full right here

Theatre is always a collaborative effort; we wouldn't be able to bring it back without your support and that of our funders, partners and community. Thank you.
