Pay Lancaster A Flying Visit This Christmas
If you’re planning a flying festive visit to Lancaster to see Peter Pan or some of our Christmas cinema season, why not combine it with other exciting Yuletide events in the city?
Just a stone’s throw from The Dukes, Lancaster On Ice in Dalton Square is proving very popular and is open from 10am-9pm every day apart from Christmas Day until January 6.
Overlooking the ice rink is Lancaster’s imposing Town Hall and there’s tours of the building with a festive feel on December 19 at 10am and 1pm when you can take in a mulled wine, tea or coffee and a mince pie while soaking up some history.
If you’re in the midst of your Christmas shopping and fancy buying a gift that’s a bit different, Meet the Makers is back in town at St Nic’s Arcade from December 13-16 and there’s also a market at Christmas at the Castle this weekend from 10.30am-5pm.
There’s late night shopping until 9pm each Thursday until Christmas and car parking on Lancaster City Council car parks and St Nic’s car park is free from 5pm on December 13 and 20 as well as all day this Sunday and on December 23.
So much to do, so little time so what are you waiting for?
