Our very own Artistic Director, Sarah Punshon has written a family show which sweeps into The Dukes this October.

The Astonishing Vacuum Cleaner Adventure aims to inspire the next generation of problem-solvers and is an interactive show aimed at children aged 7-10 and their grown-ups.

Performed in The Round, the audience are at the centre of the action at this show about Hetty, a vacuum cleaner who needs the help of young creative thinkers, budding engineers and scientists.

The Astonishing Vacuum Cleaner Adventure features in our new family theatre season which begins on September 29 with The Enormous Turnip and includes Peter Pan from November 23-January 5.

After its Dukes run, The Astonishing Vacuum Cleaner Adventure tours to Citadel Arts Centre, St Helen’s (October 21 & 22); Touchstones, Rochdale (October 23); Unity Theatre, Liverpool (October 25 & 26); Z-Arts, Manchester (October 30-November 1) and The Boo in Rossendale (November 3).
