Join us for a delightfully transportive evening of music and storytelling from singer/songwriter & performer Bay Bryan as he and his band take us on a journey through the dreamy golden wash of a summer sun soaked meadow and into the kaleidoscopic forest de BAYARD. Sit back, relax and let yourself be coaxed into a world of song and tales (some taller than others) all lovingly veiled in hues of meadow yellow and bardic blue.

Originally from the foothills of Colorado, Bay began writing songs as a wee ginger, sat alone at the family upright, lit only by a bankers lamp shining down on him like a dramatic spotlight. Born with a predisposed theatrical affliction, raconteur tendencies, and no stranger to daydreaming, Bay's world is all at once playful, soulful, melodramatic, entertaining and authentic.

The Meadow (2023) caught the attention of music lovers across genres. Bay's record was proudly displayed in the window of Manchester’s Piccadilly Records and enjoyed a few radio spins including Mark Radcliffe’s Folk Show on BBC Radio 2, BBC Radio 3’s ‘Inside Music’ and Worldwide FM.

Since The Meadow‘s release Bay has gone on to play live shows at Bridgewater Hall, Manchester International Festival, The Jazz Cafe, HOMOBLOC, Shakespeare North Playhouse, York Theatre Royal, Live at Leeds and more.

As of 2025 Bay begins the process of recording a second concept album, currently titled BAYARD which follows on from The Meadow into a mystical woods. Departing from The Meadow’s more introspective, folky core, BAYARD spills into a more playful, theatrical & groovy energy, drawing from influences such as Labi Siffre, Amy Winehouse, Stevie Wonder and Burt Bacharach. If you’ve heard Bay’s recent single ‘Drifting’ you can hear a nod to what is to come.

“Bay’s ability to conjure imaginative, story-led songs, cinematic and otherworldly, allows them to stand out from the crowd.” —  Fortitude Magazine

“An intimate tender album which takes you through a ride of emotions, one of the highlights of 2023.” —  Mr. Bongo Records

“Beautifully phrased and swimming with surprising melodic turns, 'The Meadow' is a wonderfully written, highly evocative work. Influenced by folk but with wisps of modern classical and orchestral arrangements, providing a perfect backdrop for Bay's stunning vocals without overpowering them.” —  Piccadilly Records
