Looking back to move forwards - Ludus Dance@50
Ludus Dance are coming together to celebrate their past works, their community involvement, and their impact in Lancaster and beyond over the past 50 years - in a very special celebration event at the Dukes.
Our public event begins at 6pm, with an on-site outdoor piece, pop-ups performances around the building, a multi-media gallery exhibition, and an original dance creation to be performed in the Round Theatre at 8pm.
In the original spirit of Ludus, this new work has been co-created by an intergenerational creative team! Exploring POWER and other themes from some of Ludus’ past shows, we consider what Ludus’ concerns and passions have been over the past 50 years, what they mean in the present day, and what they could lead to in the future.
*Tickets for the 6pm performance are only available when you book for the 8pm performance
