Join Oliver K. Langmead and MK Hardy as they read from their latest novels and discuss the process of co-writing

City of All Seasons by Oliver K. Langmead and Aliya Whiteley

A vibrant and emotional science fantasy about cousins trapped in mirrored worlds – the resplendent and verdant summer city and the ice-carved wastes of the winter city.

‘Vividly hopeful while set within a frighteningly real post-apocalyptic world...a poignant, heartrending, and haunting read of a family's love and trauma’

KRITIKA H. RAO, author of The Surviving Sky and The Legend of Meneka

The Needfire by MK Hardy

Fleeing her mistakes in Glasgow for a marriage of convenience, Norah Mackenzie’s new home on an estate far in the north of Scotland is a chance for freedom, a fresh start. But in the dim, draughty corridors of Corrain House, something is very wrong.

‘A feverishly haunting story… told with a deeply authentic Scottish voice’

SUNYI DEAN, Sunday Times bestselling author of The Book Eaters

Oliver K . Langmead writes speculative fiction. His verse-novel, Calypso, was named one of the best Science Fiction books of 2024 by the Guardian, Esquire Magazine, and ScreenRant.
