When internationally acclaimed orchestra conductor Thibaut is diagnosed with a serious illness, a DNA test leads him to discover he has a biological brother, Jimmy, a factory worker who plays trombone in a local marching band in Lille.
Everything seems to set them apart, except their love of music. Sensing his brother's exceptional talent, Thibaut decides to remedy the injustice of fate, and forges an unlikely connection through the joy and power of music.
