We're now in final rehearsals for Pinocchio, a production which is guaranteed to entertain audiences this festive season - and that's no lie!

Tech week is well underway and new production shots, including the one above, were taken this morning.

You may well recognise a few faces familiar to Dukes audiences in the picture: Lancaster's very own Lucas Button, who last appeared on our stage in A Tender Thing in 2015, plays Pinocchio and Geppetto is played by Russell Richardson who appeared as Gandalf in our awardwinning version of The Hobbit this summer and also as Fagin in our outdoor production of Oliver Twist last year. Also among the cast is Josie Cerise who's appeared in our productions of Cinderella, Oliver Twist and The Hobbit; and Ella Vale who appeared in Hansel & Gretel and Two. Making his Dukes debut is Ben Tolley.
