Stories from a Yorkshire Moor and other Peatlands

Come and join Clare Shaw and Anna Chilvers as they share stories and talk about the bogs and peatlands they know so well, how precious they are as habitats for all kinds of life and how overlooked and how at risk they are.

Like peat, their book is full of living things, including stories. Stories of scientific study, archaeological discovery; personal stories of suffering and growth. Fiction and poetry. Stories of damage and threat, from Walshaw Moor to the peatlands of Papua New Guinea.

This book is a collaboration between The Boggarts (a group of writers working to protect peatlands, and especially Walshaw Moor), Little Toller Books and Bluemoose Books.
