Bring the whole family for a spellbinding Mother’s Day session of poetry, stories and fun with multi-talented poet, artist, journalist and comedian Gemma Lees. 

Gemma Lees has creativity running in her blood. She’s worked and performed with an impressive range of cultural and creative organisations including Artbomb Festival, Z Arts, the Frog and Bucket and many more. In this lively, entertaining session, Gemma will engage audiences with her witty, northern, warm and thought-provoking poetry alongside readings of her father Richard O’Neill’s books. 

Gemma Lees is a passionate advocate of inclusion. She is a published poet and has written articles for numerous publications including Travellers Times, SEN Magazine and many more. Gemma is an ambassador of Olivia’s World, a charity championing disability rights and autism education. She is the daughter of acclaimed storyteller and author Richard O’Neill and regularly talks about the importance of sharing her culture and heritage.
