Directed by two-time BAFTA-nominee Matteo Garrone (Gomorrah, Tale of Tales), Io Capitano received the Silver Lion and Best Young Actor Awards at Venice Film Festival, and has been shortlisted and longlisted for the 2023 Golden Globe and Academy Awards respectively.
