Work Experience Week
After the success of our very first Work Experience Week in May 2026, it's back for 2027!
Work Experience Week 2027 will run 01st - 04th June in partnership with the Lancaster Grand and Escape2Make.
In 2026 the WEW students supported The Box community project here at The Dukes and had fun and fact filled sessions hosted by our three partners all tied together with a masterclass in freelancing and a creative careers Q&A.
This dedicated four day intensive hosted in Half Term will give local young people valuable on the ground and in-depth work experience across various arts, cultural and heritage organisations in Lancaster.

We receive a large number of work experience requests and unfortunately we are unable to accommodate everybody who applies and due to the size of our team this is our dedicated week for this activity, and we cannot accept requests outside of Work Experience Week.
