Playreading Club at The Dukes!
On the first Wednesday of every month, come along and meet us in the Gallery to read a play!
This will be a different play every month and can range from Shakespeare to great modern plays. This is such a rare opportunity to bring some incredible writing to life, and chat about the characters and stories. No prior experience is needed, all are welcome to join for the drama, the laughs and a brew.
The sessions will be led by Emma Nixon, who is the Programme Coordinator at the Dukes and works professionally as an Actor including in our 2024 Park Show, Alice in Wonderland, with Three Left Feet and After Dark.
Our next Playreading Club will be held on the Wednesday 1st October 2025, 11:30am, in the Gallery. We will be reading The Crucible by Arthur Miller.
