A luminous mix of storytelling and shadow puppetry ingeniously told with a scrolling, rolling, light-up, glowing shadow box machine otherwise knowns as a 'crankie'.
Inspired by a traditional folk tale the story takes off on an exciting romp amongst the fantastical wild beasts of the stars as they leap across the scrolling background and even fly out of the box onto a large paper screen. Moments of wonder and a star eating giant create a fun show for all the family.
