Co-presented with Lancaster Arts & performed in Moor Space.

With escalation in violence after Trump declared Jerusalem the Jewish capital; questions of antisemitism in the Labour Party; rising levels of awareness of the Palestinian cause and the negative feelings towards Israel that often accompany it — this  performance feels very timely.

Avital Raz’s solo performance derived from a song is a nuanced exploration of the politics of division, from internal checkpoints and separation walls to gender norms.

My Jerusalem was conceived during a 2018 Lancaster Arts residency & developed as a 2019 WorksAhead commission with hÅb//STUN + Contact.

Please join us for a discussion with Avital Raz after the show.

Safety Measures

The safety and wellbeing of our audiences, staff and volunteers is our top priority. Our team have worked extremely hard to introduce safety measures and make tweaks to some of our old routines so we can welcome you back confidently, comfortably and safely.

Please remember to book accordingly with guidelines surrounding households, support bubbles and socialising.

Here’s everything you need to know about experiencing new cinema and enjoying live performance in our venue again.
