When his son was born Shane was forced to reflect on his relationship with his own father.

The pressures of being a father in this modern world were thrown into perspective, Shane uses physical theatre to explore the cultural and gender expectations placed on fathers and what it means to be responsible for a child learning to navigate our complex society.

This autobiographical piece sees Altered Skin's Creative Director, Shane Shambhu portray himself drawing from personal experience with contributions from participants from differing cultural backgrounds, the piece also explores how the migrant experience has influenced fathers & fathering across generations.
