A woman trying to outrun her past traumas finds her retreat to a small English village disrupted by the strange male inhabitants.
In the aftermath of a personal tragedy, Harper retreats alone to the beautiful English countryside, hoping to have found a place to heal. When there, she finds all the men in the village (all played by the brilliant Rory Kinnear) act strangely around her and that someone or something from the surrounding woods appears to be stalking her.
What begins as simmering dread becomes a fully-formed nightmare, inhabited by her darkest memories and fears.
Suffused with folk horror and surreal imagery, Men is another singular experience from writer-director Alex Garland, who has already established himself as one of contemporary cinema's most visionary filmmakers with Ex Machina, Annihilation and his miniseries Devs.
